Shaw Regional Cancer Center is a program of Vail Valley Medical Center (VVMC). Their advanced Colorado cancer center is the only cancer research and treatment facility based in the mountain community of the central Rockies. The Shaw Regional Cancer Center primarily serves a six-county region including Eagle, Garfield, Pitkin, Lake, Summit and Routt counties.

The Shaw Cancer Center has created a relaxing, healing environment complete with cascading waterfalls, healing gardens, and soothing music. They offer the world’s most advanced cancer care, featuring state-of-the-art radiation treatment that includes IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy) and brachytherapy treatments for many types of cancer. Their experienced physicians, trained at the most respected cancer training centers, offer both radiation therapy and medical oncology services.
